Why give to the Annual Fund?

With the implementation of the school's five-year Strategic Plan, HKIS leaders determined that tuition wasn't enough to support the many new programs that were planned.

Additional funding was needed to take HKIS to the next level of educational excellence. Thus the Annual Fund was developed and implemented during the 1999/2000 school year.

Who Gives to HKIS?

The Annual Fund is supported by family, friends, faculty, staff and alumni of HKIS.

The HKIS parent community has represented the largest number of donors to the Annual Fund, closely followed by the school's leadership, faculty and staff and alumni.

LP's Book-O-Ween 2006

Lower Primary students and faculty celebrated October 31 by dressing as their favorite book character.  Many children and teachers also carried the book in which their character features to encourage all of us to read it.  There was a parade for each grade level on the 7th floor playground so everyone could enjoy each others' books and characters. 
 

HKIS Tennis Team Wins HK Interschool Tournament

During the last weekend in October 2006, the HKIS boys high school tennis team was crowned champions of the Hong Kong Interschool Tennis Tournament for the second straight year. Congratulations to the team, captain Kevin Kung, and coach Mike Baker.
