  Welcome from the Lower Primary Principal
Welcome to the Lower Primary at HKIS! On behalf of our entire school community, I invite you to learn more about this wonderful place and I also extend an invitation to personally visit our campus and speak to our very special teachers and students.
Every day at our Lower Primary, talented and diverse students from all around the world come together and are immersed in learning. Our Mission Statement guides us and it is important that you review this on our website. Working with the youngest of learners, we believe that our emphasis should be on educating the whole child – the entire emotional, social, physical, spiritual, and intellectual being. We have a strong academic program rooted in a balanced approach to literacy instruction, as well as an enriched, comprehensive and balanced mathematics curriculum. The students are involved in inquiry based learning throughout the day. Our focus is always on what is best for the child.
We believe that a collaborative partnership with parents is vital to the success of our school. Close contact between parents and teachers enhances the quality of learning.

In an effort to streamline data collection, HKIS has implemented a new system by which you can update and maintain your personal information.
Parents can access https://cwis.hkis.edu.hk/ParentForms/index.php and log in using the parent username and password previously supplied to verify and correct your data.
