Summer Discovery Program (SDP)
This program offers both educational and recreational courses, suitable for HKIS and non-HKIS students aged four to eighteen.  All courses are designed for participants' enjoyment  in a fun environment of learning, trust and respect.

Using grade level and age group divisions, children are registered and grouped in such a way as to provide appropriate individual and group instruction in their respective courses.   Even in academic courses, the  classroom atmosphere in our Summer Discovery Program is deliberately less pressurized than that of  regular classroom settings.  No tests are given and no graded homework is assigned.

English Language Leadership Program (ELLP)
To give back to the Hong Kong community, the HKIS Annual Fund provides most of the funding for this program. ELLP' intensive three-week program provides current Form 3/Grade 9 students with the opportunity to think creatively, reason critically and explore collaboratively in a highly interactive English environment.  Importantly, the program focuses on the idea of making a difference.

Participants in this program must meet the required selection criteria; and are selected from the results of an entrance test designed by HKIS.
